Following feedback from principals and teachers on what other resources they could use to strengthen their school communities, Enchanted Backpack now provides five to eight qualified schools in-need each year, with washing machines and dryers in their buildings, along with one full year of laundry supplies and additional clothing. This program has proved to increase students’ self-esteem and decrease absenteeism.
